Flag Football Star

Gunnar man played flag football this fall for the first time.  He did GREAT!  He was the youngest on the team, but was a STAR! :)  (We might be a little prejudiced)  He played with Upward and it is THE BEST program!  It is fun, fair, and so so positive!!  They pray and do devotionals each practice and game!  We love it and do indoor soccer with them as well!  Gunnar was on a winning team (all are)  and I adored watching him!  These guys and girls run all directions and pull flags after plays.  It is perfect fun!  He really can carry the ball and throw the ball pretty well.  We are so proud!  He is not a huge fan of playing in the wet grass at 9 am on Saturdays and didn't like to fall while tugging on a flag, but besides that, he seemed to love the game!  haha  I finally convinced him that it is ok to get his jersey dirty.  That's what football stars do!  That is so not my typical dirt diggin' boy!  Just took him a while to get in the groove, but he is ready now!
