Sorghum Festival 2011

I am just a little late blogging about the annual sorghum festival parade.  It was another gorgeous warm day and the kids had a blast.  This parade actually lasted a little longer and the kids LOVE getting candy.  I have been going to this parade as a little girl so it is just a fun family tradition!  This was the first year that my Mom didn't come with us, and we did miss her!

 Mattie is a pro at rock climbing!  (Even in a skirt - ha ha) Gunnar and Layla did great at it too!

 Little Clara LOVED this jumpy slide and would have stayed on it all day if Mom could have endured the heat! ha 

She also LOVED this slushy and was completely blue by the time we left!
